Questions owners ask
Does Barry sync my whole Google Photos library?
No. Barry can't see your library on its own. It sends you a picker link, you choose the photos, and only those come across. Google shut down the automatic library access other apps used to rely on in 2025, so a picker is the only way this works now, and nothing leaves your library unless you chose it.
Do the photos carry the location they were taken?
No. Photos that come through the Google Photos picker arrive without GPS data, so Barry can't place them on a map or check them against a site address. If you need location on a photo, send it to Barry straight from your phone in WhatsApp, iMessage or Telegram.
