Connect Barry to Microsoft Excel
Your existing workbooks will be updated in place — job cost trackers, crew hours, estimate sheets — kept current from crew texts, never restructured.

What is a Microsoft Excel Barry integration?
Barry will connect to your Microsoft Excel account and proactively complete work in it. Job cost trackers will fill in from receipts as they arrive, crew hours will land on the right job from what the crew texts in, and estimate sheets will stay current, all in the workbooks you already built, with every tab and column untouched.
Barry won't just answer questions about Microsoft Excel. It will be your AI employee — an AI operations assistant that does the office work inside Microsoft Excel for you, on a schedule you set once.
Unlike workflow builders such as Zapier, as soon as the Microsoft Excel connection ships and you connect:
- Barry learns your business on its own — your customers, jobs, crew and how you use Microsoft Excel.
- You create systems and automations that update themselves when the schedule, the quote or the crew changes.
- Barry connects Microsoft Excel to all the other tools you use, so one text updates every one of them.
- Barry asks for approval before anything sensitive runs — sending, paying, changing a price.
What can you ask Barry to do in Microsoft Excel?
Once the Microsoft Excel connection is live, text one of these to Barry and it sets the system up in Microsoft Excel:
When a receipt comes in for a job, add it to that job's row in our Excel job cost tracker with the date, vendor and amount.
When the crew texts their hours for the day, add them to the crew hours workbook and tell me if a job is running over the estimate.
When I text you measurements from a site visit, fill in a new copy of our Excel estimate sheet and send me the total to review.
Each Monday, read the open-estimates tab and tell me which ones have been sitting more than a week.

Barry works across all of these today — Microsoft Excel will be one connection of many.
Questions owners ask
When will the Microsoft Excel integration be available?
There's no date yet, and we'd rather not promise one before the connection is ready to use. Join the waitlist and you'll be among the first in when it ships. If your business runs on Microsoft 365, you can start with Outlook today: it's already a live connection, so Barry can file receipts, quotes and confirmations from your inbox in the meantime.
Will Barry mess up my workbooks?
No. Barry will read and update cells in the workbooks you already have, in the columns you already use. It won't add tabs, rename headers or touch your formulas unless you ask it to, and it will tell you which cells it changed so you can check its work.
Do I have to stop using Excel?
No. Your workbooks will stay in Excel, in your own Microsoft account, where you and your office already work. Barry will be another set of hands inside them, keeping the numbers current so nobody is retyping crew texts into a spreadsheet at night.
